Off-line coated heat and solar control glasses are manufactured by depositing multi-layered metal/metal oxides on float glass through "magnetically enhanced vacuum sputtering" technology. Heat and solar control coating can be applied on different thicknesses of cut size tempered clear or body-tinted float glasses. It has a low light reflectance value very close to clear float glass.

With only one coating, heat insulation and solar control are provided at the same time. It keeps the heat inside thus provides saving from the heating expences. Whereas in summer by decreasing solar energy transmission, provides saving from the cooling expenses. Laminating, tempering process are performed before the application of coating. heat and solar control glasses should be assembled in double glazing insulating units (Isıcam) with the coating placed facing inside (second surface).
